ABOUT US

At Illumine Learning Centre, we offer a comprehensive, age-appropriate curriculum that supports each child’s growth across all areas of development. Our program includes Literacy, Math, Phonics, Creative Arts, Science, Music, Physical Development, and Social–Emotional Learning, thoughtfully tailored to each age group. Through a holistic, child-centered approach, we nurture confidence, curiosity, independence, and a lifelong love of learning in a safe and supportive environment.

LITERACY

Literacy is an incredible part of early childhood. Our focus is to allow students to experience beautiful story telling each day. Story telling through books, visual pictures, felt board, puppetry and imagination.

MATH

Our Math curriculum introduces basic math concepts in a fun and exciting way. We introduce a new math focus each month including counting, shapes, number recognition, patterning, and measurement. ​

Science

Science at illumine Learning allows students to explore our amazing world and its beauty from right inside the classroom. From science experiments to onsite field trips, we love to explore and learn about our world

CREATIVE ART

Our creative arts curriculum allows children to express their creative selves through arts, crafts, movement and music, all of which are a key component to a fun day

Phonics

We offer the FUN FAMILY PHONICS Program. This incredible phonics curriculum allows children to learn each letter of the alphabet and focus on its phonetic sound and printing formation.

Music

We have a wide variety of music and movement equipment. This equipment is used during our circle time activities to get children up and moving to the rhythm. The hands-on equipment make circle time a super fun time as children learn to move to the beat and play along with instruments to the rhythm of the music.

Outdoor Play

Rain or shine, our daycare embraces the great outdoors as this is a crucial part of Early Learning!

Yoga

We provide yoga sessions every Friday as a way to wind down the week. Yoga is becoming increasingly common in our everyday life and this is no different for children. Yoga can help improve flexibility, strength, coordination and body awareness. In addition, it aids in concentration, relaxation, and a sense of calmness.

We are so grateful to the team led by Alicia. This was our daughters second daycare. In the first day care (a renowned daycare) we had miserable experience in all aspects. My daughter was potty trained, and she was so good at home. After first month being there, it was a complete mess. My daughter used to cry day long and nobody cared. My daughter has no interest to go there and even in her dreams she started crying saying about that daycare. It was literally horrible experience for our family. We were perforced to leave that child care after one and half month of disastrous experience. Then we approached Alicia and told her about my daughters situation. Just after two three days our daughter adapted well and she was happy to go there. We were so thankful to this team. The teachers are excellent. They are very attentive and compassionate and treat the children as if they are their own. Alicia is very approachable and responsive, always does her best to help you in any way she can! The facility is secure and clean. We are happy that sending our child to this daycare transformed our child. The care, compassion, and love they showed towards my daughter is appreciable, and helped my daughter to come out of initial trauma. Thanks a lot guys!
